Who you are contracting with

The app and this site are provided by Süleyman Ateş, İstanbul, Türkiye. Contact: support@loirapp.com. By installing or using Loir you accept these terms.

Loir is not a medical device

Loir is a consumer wellness app. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

The sound event index and every other number in the app are estimates derived from audio and, where available, from sensors in your Apple devices. They are not clinical measurements. Never delay seeking medical advice because of something the app showed you, and if you are worried about your breathing during sleep, speak to a clinician.

Recording and other people

You are responsible for what you record. If another person sleeps in the room, their voice and their breathing may be captured. Depending on where you live, recording another person without their knowledge may be unlawful.

Tell the people who share your room that recording is happening. Speech clip playback can be turned off entirely in Settings if you would rather not have it available.

Subscriptions

Loir is free to use with limits. Premium is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.

The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy, not by us.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or extract the app's models, and do not use the app to record people who have not agreed to it or for any unlawful purpose.

You keep ownership of your recordings and your data. We claim no rights over them and, since they stay on your device, we have no access to them.

Availability and changes

The app is provided as it is. Features may be added, changed or removed, and compatibility depends on Apple's platforms and on your device. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

If a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, it will be announced in the app before it takes effect.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data, or for any decision you take on the basis of what the app displayed. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected by anything written here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
